Hot Topic: The Complexities of Patient Cost-Sharing
Spacer
As part of its Synthesis Project, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) recently released a comprehensive report, "Patient Cost-Sharing: Effects on Spending and Outcomes." With the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and growing health care spending, there is a need for evidence-based information on the effects of cost-sharing.  This report, along with studies funded under RWJF's Changes in Health Care Financing and Organization (HCFO) program, are analyzing different facets of cost-sharing.
