AcademyHealth’s 2005 Health in Foreign Policy Forum presented an overview of the many U.S. health policy challenges that have international implications. The 2006 Forum will focus on an issue that literally crosses borders: health worker migration. The 2006 Forum will examine the causes, consequences, and possible domestic and foreign policy responses to the global shortage of nurses and physicians.
